Character: Agent Paul Smith
Backstory: Following a tour in the Marines, Agent Smith was on the fast track to success in the FBI until he began investigating an urban legend regarding real life 'dolls'. Despite his partner Booth warning him he was losing it he couldn't let the case go. Unable to crack the case he found himself demoted to the X-files division, partnering with Agent Mulder who took him on cases where the weird was normal.

While he was on the trail of a werewolf he ended up on the wrong end of a were bite, finding himself turned into one of the monsters he hunted. Turning his focus on finding a cure he hopes to one day be human again.
